So ... who am I?
I'm a Water Purification Technician. (OK. I had you worked up all for
nothing. Unless you like the water you drink, the fish you eat, the
pools you swim in, that jetboat tour last summer, streets that clear up
reasonably quickly after a rain storm, the warm or cool buildings you
work in, whose boilers and cooling towers I used to service, the river
into which your treated sewage is dumped whose treatment plant I helped
build ...)
I like this HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) site.
Here is my church, Rosedale-Queen Mary United Church.
I'm a graduate of:
Royal West Academy (High School)
Centennial College (Cegep)
Macdonald College of McGill University
Cegep de St. Laurent (Cegep again!)
I'm "addicted" to some iced tea. This file also contains my favourite
drinks.

My Hobbies:
In my spare time I love to make wine, be involved in my Rover Crew,
do other Scouting stuff, make firestarters, and go camping.
Here is some Scouting Humour.
Oh. I'm a big time Trekkie. Very BIG time. Click here to see a listing
of Net resources on Star Trek. I've seen all the reruns of ST & ST:TNG
at least 3 times (as well as having everything on tape), and I don't
miss new episodes of DS9. Here's some Voyager stuff: Voyager.
Here is my Anti-Wussley ftp site.
Check out my Scouting FTP site, www.malak.ca/scouting I also

Of course, I think that Hallowe'en should be the most important holiday of
the year. Here's a great page.

About Those Dark Corners I Frequent on the Net...
The most likely place to find me lurking is on Rec.Crafts.Winemaking -- I
don't always post, but once in a while I do, and I also dispense opinions
here and there. BTW, yes, I am the guy who wrote A) the FAQ and B) the text on kit
winemaking, and if you want either, just go here. I also lurk on
alt.swedish.chef.bork.bork.bork and post "101
ways to kill/torture Wussley "Clean" (fun, but ...)

Oh, don't tell me that it's inconvenient that my ftp site is full of
zipped files. That's how I want to present things and that way I can stuff
more content into my limited disk space on my ISP.

And Just What is Don's House of Fine Patisseries?
Don's House of Fine Patisseries is the name of a fictional pastry shop I
run -- actually, it's
A) The kitchen at Camp Jackson Dodds, where I once worked during the summer
B) Anywhere I am where a telephone rings.
This stems back to the summer I was working in a camp kitchen. A phone
was located there so that the powers that be could be reached even during
meals. I would jokingly announce, when the phone would ring, "Don's
House of Fine Patisseries" (though of course not actually answer the
phone, at least not that way.)
Now every time I hear a phone ring, I make the announcement under my breath.
